I'm just curious to where the Gryffindor school spirit is. We're heading back in a few days and the Slytherins seem to think they can talk about crushing us anywhere they want. I seem to be the only one of us who is bothering to defend our ability to hold on the Quidditch Cup.

Still have nothing to say. I bought my broom last week. Not a whole lot to say about buying a broom. But I have it and it's amazing and I can't wait to use it at tryouts. I still have to get the rest of my school supplies. Any word on who got what yet? I haven't seen anyone bragging about new power yet.
I don't actually care much. I'm just counting down the days to September. |

I can never remember where I put this thing.
Honestly, I think it's for the best. I don't honestly want to hear about all the bad news. It's about the same as reading the Daily Prophet but with more opinions.
In other news, I'm inching closer to having enough money in my broom fund. |

Mum is working over. Guess this means I get to figure out what to cook for myself. Ordering out sounds pretty appeasing at the moment but it sort of defeats the purpose of trying to save money. If you hear of a fire in Shrewsbury it's probably me burning down the house.
Ginny, we all know you're going to be captain of the team even if it's not official yet. When are try-outs going to be? I need to know so I make sure my training schedule is up to par. Keeper position here I come. |

Helped the widower down the street paint her greenhouse. She's got a bit garden in the back near it and it's pretty crazy. None of it is magical. I like the fact her plants don't want to eat my fingers off or shriek at me. I got about half of it done and I guess I'll do the rest tomorrow. The money is going toward a new broom. I figure if I keep doing odds and ends I'll have enough by the end of the summer. It's amazing what the neighbours will do just because they think I'm cute. I guess some it has to do with the fact I'm a bastard. If only they knew the half of it.
It's getting close to the two month mark until I get to go back to school and claim my rightful spot on the Quidditch team. They're reinstating it, right? PLEASE DON'T LET RON WEASLEY COME BACK TO SCHOOL. PLEASE DON'T LET RON WEASLEY COME BACK TO SCHOOL... OR HARRY POTTER. |
